Guns don’t kill people, YouTube does!

I was checking the Wowd‘s hot list today, and this page was on the top of the list. Basically it lists and comments about the most popular YouTube videos. One of the videos, the baby which laughs for 1 minute and 40 seconds, caught my eye, because of the incredible uselessness and meaninglessness. Can you believe that in this moment, that video is having almost 92 millions of views!!?

So, lets assume that the average person sleeps 8 hours a day, which leaves him 16 hours for work, life, universe and everything. Multiplying 92 000 000 with 1.4, we get the number of seconds of “life” spent by watching this ridiculous video clip. Dividing that by 60 and 16, we get the approximation of time wasted, human life wasted – in years:

(((92 000 000 * 1.4) / 60) / 16) / 365 = 367.579909

So it turns out that this clip has “killed” 367 years of human life, that is, somewhere between 4 and 5 complete human lives!

I won’t put a link to the video here because I don’t want anyone to get “killed” because of me. Just stay out of meaningless videos and spend your time on important things.
